Volunteering and Funding

The Academic Board of Directors, faculty, and other staff members work voluntarily, without receiving any financial compensation for their work. Tuition fees are amounts of money that students must pay for each course they enroll in. These fees consist of two tiers: one for individuals aged 18 to 54 and a reduced rate for individuals aged 55 and older.

Students who are over 80 years old are granted free tuition, and there are also reductions and exemptions for disabled individuals, large families, and those with financial need. An important source of funding for this organization is the “Friends of UMAFY” program, through which anyone, whether or not affiliated with the organization, can provide financial support by making an annual contribution of a certain amount of money.
