The Culture Centre, opened on the 1st of October 2004, is a three-storey building with a surface area of two thousand square metres and equipped with theatre, multi-purpose room, tourist office, library and two exhibition rooms, one of which is devoted to the Bilaketa picture collection. The theatre seats 270 and has a stage measuring 12.5 metres across and 9 metres deep.
The architectural project involves two bodies: the one which houses the two exhibition rooms and the one which contains the theatre and library. The first body maintains the traditional facade of the old building, which is of great interest, and has two levels, one for each exhibition room. The second body is a horizontal stone construction which consists of a single floor without architectural barriers.
